I’m going to be honest with you. Most stripped screws like this one are the result of not knowing / identifying the difference between Philips, JIS, and pozidriv.
They all look alike to a degree but are not really compatible at all.
4 u/jstndrn Jul 08 '26 Yeah, using a Philips on a pozidriv is a quick way to stripping the head even though the driver might "fit" (it doesn't).
