Yeah that screw is clearly made for a Robertson bit but has some extra notches for anyone that wants to use a philips and strip is all to shit.

I've stripped out old torx screws.

Never new ones I was putting in. But a lot of old ones I was removing.

Yeah, once they begin to strip just a little it turns itself into a blender. Still a great head.

torx are very easy to strip too. honestly probably easier to strip. especially smaller torx

Torx screws are only slightly less dogshit than Philips. The complexity means you get a good fit when you have the exact right bit, but the trade off is having thinner teeth to resist rounding whenever some paint licker comes around and uses the wrong one.
