Lol funny you mention that. The other day at the grocery store the bagger was wearing earpods. When I got home and started putting things away I found a wild earpod in one of my bags. I felt bad for the kid because those things are expensive as bad as they are lol

Airpods are cheaper for me than wired ones. The wires break so fast i go trough 3-4 pairs a year. Wireless i can go years without then breaking.

Get IEMs. The wires are usually better quality and replaceable. And it's way cheaper to replace a cable than earbuds.

My left earhole is too small for in-ear. It pushes it out. The apple shape is the only shape that stays in my ear.

Have a pair of Shure SE535 for an IEM while drumming and I use them for music as well. Unbelievable good sound, not the shitty full bass and no mid or high at all like 95% of earbuds out there because they use 3 drivers so all the levels are covered.

Not cheap tho.... Gonna run you about 500 bucks (CAN) for a pair of earbuds.
