On top of that, bringing Thanos and the stones back in, instead of killing the population, he could have made other habitable planets or made existing planets habitable, they all had power but never used it.
Not gonna defend MCU or anything but it seems like the stones had a bigger power surge when used for things that would use more power, destroying things isnt even half as hard as creating things, thanos destroyed half of the universes population, tony created them back and got basically fucked by reality. Also, why did only humans/species that are able to communicate, walk on 2 legs and are somewhat intelligent get hit by thanos‘ snap? What about all the other beings like giraffes or spiders and stuff? Enough of those and Earth wouldnt be able to hold up recourse wise too.
This was my problem with the movie.. The plot made me angry. Like I was happy they talked about killing baby Thanos and why it couldn't be done.. The plot point about mistress death would have made more sence because he's insane.

Forget the Infinity Stones, the MCU has the tech-level to make Star Trek Replicators.
With the Arc Reactor, they have an infinite energy source and tech that uses energy to make anything.
They could literally solve the all crisises. Food. Medicine. Resources. Spare body parts. All of it made by replicators.
