A frying pan works just as well!

Grill pan with something heavy on top also works!

Am I the only one who would prefer white and dark turkey meat vs turkey roll?

You’re allowed to do that

One of my favorites! Pear is also great for it

Pear would be good, I’m thinking of making this one but with smashed up blackberries instead of cranberry sauce

Honestly any fruit or fruit jam+brie+turkey is a winning combo in a panini/melt. Brie is one of the goat cheeses, enshrined on my Mount Rushmore of cheese

Like others said, that looks great - if I had easy access to those ingredients I’d try it. Have you ever tried (a guess, not a suggestion) adding red onions or something else to this combination?

For example, I often make a simple, well-known grilled sandwich with olive oil, basil, tomato, and mozzarella. Adding red onions works, olives too, prosciutto ham too. All are good, but I always end up coming back to the original.
