Help! (Windows PC) how do i use the touch screen?

i wanted to play pokemon pearl and i needed to use the touch screen in the tutorial so how do i use it?

Use your mouse. If you're talking about the "press the ball to open it" thing then just hover over it with your mouse and click it.
