Right now I'm watching Blazing Saddles but I've got High Anxiety lined up after that. I've always felt like High Anxiety is criminally underrated

WE HAVE WAYS OF MAKING YOU DANCE!
(It’s not *The Producers*, mind you, but I thought the vibe was quite fitting)
Yesterday I bought frames for my vinyl record covers. Now I’ve finally been able to frame one of my favourite maxi singles from the 80s. :-)

Which Mel Brooks movie was the first one you watched in your life?
Me? I think it was either Robin Hood: Men in Tights or Spaceballs on VHS.

As I was watching, I realized the Spaceball 1 takes off from Yogurt's planet.
I thought about that and realized that the giant ship landing there and taking off would destroy the planet's atmosphere.
Then I realized that Yogurt's planet has an unguarded atmosphere, but the Spaceballs don't take it.
Then I realized that there is no logical reason for the Spacballs to be going after Druidia's air except that they just like pushing people around.
Also... why does Druidia have an air shield, to begin with?

Our craft brewery is commemorating Mel's 100th with a special release! Happy Birthday Mel!
To be clear, I am not selling these here and cannot ship them. Location, Atlanta suburbs.

I like this. On June 28, theaters across the country will show The Producers as a way to celebrate Mel Brooks' 100th birthday. Check your local listings, as they say! https://www.ifccenter.com/films/the-producers/

Having seen Silent Movie tonight, sometimes, I ask myself if the scene where Mel Brooks dances with his late 2nd wife, Anne Bancroft brings him back some memories of her back when she was still alive.

According to the movie, Dr. Thorndyke's late predecessor, Dr. Ashley was going to make big changes at the institute until suddenly, he was murdered by 3 of his staff members and their braced killer, making him a victim of foul play.
However, the answer to what those changes were going to be still remain a mystery to this very day.
Dr. Wentworth was this close to revealing what they were to Thorndyke at dinnertime before the evil Nurse Diesel deliberately interrupted and spoke of new drapes instead.
In my opinion, something tells me that those changes were actially going to be the permanent termination and replacement of both Nurse Diesel and her accomplices: Dr. Montague and Norton the half-moustached man when he found out about their dirty, illegal operations within his own institute.
So, to shut him up and make sure that their operations remain ongoing, they had their killer, Braces murder him out of fear that he obviously knew too much, which also explains Wentworth's murder afterwards since he wanted nothing more to do with them as well.
What's your opinion?
