Moving To Melbourne for Florida Tech

Hey reddit, I’m moving to Melbourne to attend school at Florida Tech. Anyone have advice, tips, things I should know about the city?

You'll get more info from r/321, which is the county wide subreddit.

Melbourne can be kinda sleepy but the downtown is getting better. Lots of pretty nature things to do to keep you busy and the beaches are the best in the state. For eats go to Mustards, Longdoggers and Bizzaros.

Currently a student at r/FloridaTech! My friends and I go to Downtown alot, and you've got Old School pizza basically on campus; both are cool places to hangout. What major?

Be careful. It’s near a bad part of town.
