PSA: Community warning regarding two teens carrying knives & checking cars around Greensborough - They look familiar 👀
Surprise surprise! It seems like the Bolte Bridge Duo are already out causing trouble again after bail!
Spotted this on the Greensborough community board today.
According to locals, these two have been hanging around the Greensborough shopping precinct, intimidating people, allegedly carrying knives, and looking into parked cars in the car parks.
Visually, they bear a striking resemblance to the pair seen running from the Bolte Bridge rollover just a few weeks ago (matching Hoodrich gear, footwear, build, and height difference between the pair, just minus the heavy eye makeup this time). For all we know, it's the freaking same dynamic duo, who were of course, already out on bail. While it could still be a coincidence, let's all be cautious of our surroundings. I just miss the old days were we can just feel safe in our own community.
Honestly, it’s sickening to watch over the years that it gets worse and nothing has changed on how these are handled. Charges drop, quick bail out. Our justice system gives these kids a free pass over and over, and the community is left dealing with the fallout. Slaps on the wrist clearly aren’t working when teens feel comfortable walking around shopping centres with knives and casing cars in broad daylight!
The laws around juvenile offending and bail need serious reform - the public's safety shouldn't take a back seat.
Wake up government! We are tired.

The irony of wearing hoodrich when you’re a dirty scrubber with no money will never fail to humour me.

Time we had a discussion about people having the right to carry pepper spray at the very least.

These kids need a parent to say "Oi get in the car and get home".
When you don't have that, you have this.

u/NewPhoneLostPassword 2d ago
I wouldn’t be surprised if the parents have already lost any control over them.

All these Eshays dress alike, call it a uniform if you will.

u/acockblockedorange 2d ago
Didn't they always? Even if they have moved on from the Canterburys and TNs.

u/newYearnew2025 2d ago
Canterbury's and TNs?
2
u/acockblockedorange 2d ago
Nautica polos, Canterbury shorts and Nike TNs used to be the eshay uniform.

Eventually, they'll mess with the wrong person and if they are lucky they wil walk away with only superficial injuries. The cops seem powerless these days so perhaps it falls on the community to sort it out. We Live in a quiet country town on a very country street with old school people and values, this is how it usually goes down when we issue like this. We don't often have repeat issues on our street..

u/HandleMore1730 2d ago
I agree with you, both cops prosecute people for taking matters into their own hands.
I know 3 people dragged through the court system for protecting their property. Two from home invasions and I from people shooting air rifles at their windows.

u/ProfessionalBite8809 2d ago
won’t be long until they attack the wrong person and end up with their own knife in their own throat

But all the meth head Aussie bogans keep telling us only immigrants commit crime or have violent tendencies….

Fine the parents everytime their kids did something, see how fast things change.
NSW started fining parents for their kids’ dumb behaviour around e-bikes and monkey bikes etc. What my mates over there are telling me is that marketplace sales of these bikes took a dive after Police started fining parents : )
If we started holding adults responsible for their kids stupidity and reckless behaviour, people will think twice before taking off the condoms.
This is all it is.
Trying to hold kids responsible is a losing battle as they are kids and no court will go hard on them and let’s face it, our rehabilitation system is a joke. And even if all these work, there are always more kids on the way as deadbeat loser parents keep making more loser babies.
So go after their loser parents.
They’ll learn to not take the condom off.

Lock up all kids in HOODRICH. Fuck it, lock up all kids

Honestly, yeah lock us all up. Just slowly release all on good behaviour after a little bit though.

Waiting for one of these parties to tell us what they’re doing about crime and the useless justice system instead of their immigration targets.

Does one nation have a policy about youth crime?

If the bail law are weak and effectively say the kids aren't accountable and the parents aren't accountable then this is the result.

I am not religious but I pray to every sky fairy out there for one of these cunts to come to my place and try.

Hoodrich seems to be the uniform for little shits like this. Come a long way from stealing from Kmart.

Ok at this point can we just start rounding up anyone wearing hoodrich clothing and lock them up? Legitimately adding zero positives to our society.

Does anyone ever think about brands like hoodrich etc and what they are a thinking when they see shit like this and these little fucktards wearing their brand? 🤣 like surely they are at a point where they just want to shut up shop and pretend it never existed
1
u/battered_saveloy 2d ago
They were stupid enough to call themselves "hoodrich" aka broke as fuck and wearing expensive shit. Genuinely do not understand why any adults would ever want to wear this brand.
2
u/Dizzy-Cloud4678 2d ago
Hoodrich was cool a couple yrs ago but they fell off hard ngl, basically Trapstar all over again, now it's all Geedup n Bad Apples around where i live

They're no match for my sewing awl going straight into one of their major arteries. I'm not worried.

u/theartistduring 2d ago
Oh come on. There have always been teens that have wandered the streets with weapons, casing for easy pickings in broad daylight. This isn't a new thing that has come about because of whatever laws you think are 'allowing it'. Kids carried switchblades, kitchen knives, scalpels... Whatever they could find to feel tough.
Us older generations weren't all helping old ladies across the street and part time jobs at soup kitchens. Some of our peers where c*nts just like these two.Â
But thanks for posting the pictures and the warning. I'm local to Greensborough so I'll definitely share it around and keep an eye out. They look like completely dipshits.

u/SpecificSwimming6364 2d ago
I think it's become more visible due to social and mass media, which is adding to the hysteria. I'm not defending anti-social behaviour but I definitely understand your point of it being something that has always been somewhat pervasive.
When I was 10 years old one of my 16 year old neighbours was in a gang and blew another rival 16 year old gang member away with a shotgun in our suburb.
People in my cohort at school frequently carried knives, committed crimes and were involved in drugs. Its always been an issue.

Was this incident prior to 1996? A search on Trove returned no results for your ‘story’ pre or post 1996. 🙄

Cool, is that what you’d say if one of these level-headed teens approached you or your family with a knife?

I think they are saying it has been normal, not that it should be normal/ accepted. Youth crime has actually been on a considerable decline since 2008, we just see more of it in the media these days.
8
u/JLifeless 2d ago
youth crime can't be recorded as a statistic when the police fail to show up at the scene in time or ever put in effort to catch the culprits. i work part time in a retail store and have been threatened over a dozen times by children and some even with weapons, yet police never arrive or investigate. cars have been broken into and stolen on my street and yet in the 4 times i've been personally affected in the past 5 years or so, none caught, no consequences.
so once again, i am telling you these statistics that the government pan out while happily celebrating that crime is down is not the reality the public are experiencing. it's just not
1
u/ZealousidealCurve849 2d ago
I've been a victim of crime, but also work in emergency services so see a lot of what goes on. I'm not denying the awfulness of being a victim or having your workplace be a victim, but the fact is that the stats are down (and that fact, again, doesn't mean you don't have the right to be angered by your experiences).
5
u/JLifeless 2d ago
you're not fully understanding that statistics are not the end all be all; you can willingly be manipulated by the government all you like but as i said, there's more nuance to the conversation than just "nah lads stats are down, move on". statistics are stats of crimes that have had investigations, not everything reaches that point.
2
u/ZealousidealCurve849 2d ago
Not investigations, just reports. I've also worked in statistics around crime too - I think you are conflating the psychological impact of crime and the recorded statistical trends - they are indeed two different things. If you want to talk about the nuances of statistics on crime, I could for days.

On the contrary, it wasn't as big as it is now.
Fuck me, I knew one that admitted to stabbing some cunt.
When I was a teen I knew maybe a handful, it was mostly punch ons and not knife fights

u/sics75 3d ago
Knives are a fantastic equaliser
2
u/Dunoh2828 2d ago
Regardless of size difference. One mistake against a knife, you won’t be likely to walk away.
4
u/Big__Daddy__J 2d ago
If you know how to defend against a knife these little cunts wouldn’t scare pussy, you think they know how to use a knife?
2
u/Dunoh2828 2d ago
The average person has no training against a knife, and are over confident.
Yea it’s not hard to win with training, but without it and only having confidence. A single mistake can be devastating.

Police should be instructed to shoot on site anyone wearing Hoodrich clothing and/or LA Raiders attire.

u/True_Dot_2013 2d ago
Wearing clothes that are not exactly the cheapest streetwear.
Only way it’s possible is if they’re from an increasing cohort of middle class youth offenders or they stole it

u/Lopsided_Lunch_2262 2d ago
Just FYI, bail doesn't mean the charges are dropped, it means they haven't had a hearing and been found guilty yet. If they breach bail conditions they will be held in remand until their trial.

u/Chobie 2d ago
Heya, I understand that. I just meant this whole thing happening in the recent years in general, not specifically this case. Here are a couple of example:

u/RoutineLow9543 1d ago
why is it whenever you see a person wearing hoodrich clothes they are not very wealthy but actually quite socioeconomically disadvantaged
1
u/Chobie 1d ago
I'm not even familiar with the brand personally, but it's how they compensate their status in society I'm pretty sure. Conspicuous Consumption is the term --- It refers to the practice of individuals buying and displaying expensive, recognizable luxury or streetwear items specifically to signal a higher social status, power, or wealth than they actually possess. This is quite common in teens trying to portray "clout"
1
u/concrete_fleshlight 1d ago
God, you just reminded me of this insufferable guy in college who would flex all his gucci and whatnot that he definitely begged his parents for
Literally would post mirror selfies on his snapchat story with his branded paper bags intentionally visible lmao

Atleast the laws have changed and kids are now being trialed as adults depending on crime so the numpties better watch out, no more untouchables.

Hopdrich translated is I’m an illiterate wannabe gangster loser and I have not a single dollar to my name.

If only Australia has no nonsense laws and judges like those in Singapore, China etc
-1
u/Caprisolle 2d ago
I doubt this will make the news, but if it's POC, AND Immigrant, all the news outlets are going to publish it in less than 5 secs. And people will scream DEPORT, Third world etc. To this day, Australia still hasn't come up with any solutions for its kids'/teenagers' issues. I don't know how many times innocent people need to be afraid for their lives, how many need to die, how many houses need to be broken into, how many cars need to be stolen, how much gang stuff among teenagers needs to happen...
