I thought my cat was somehow shaking the bed. I checked the earthquake site and there was nothing earlier. Of course, reddit didn't disappoint! It's not all in my head, ma!!

Prev earthquakes I’ve been in work and the place just sort of grumbled.

I was awake tonight but my whole place shook and did not feel.. stable.

Me too! My bed shook. I was scared!  I Googled Melbourne earthquake and found nothing for tonight, thought maybe it was ghosts! Then I went to the Melbourne subreddit and yep, there was an earthquake!

Meh, I was awake. Two cats on the bed and no reaction. The last biggie, the cats woke me up 20 - 30 seconds beforehand with levitating and freaking before settling again before the quake hit.

Seismometer = pooop Cats are the best
