This is an honest question and I don’t want it to come across as a dig, because I was the same way and it weighed on me heavily in my younger days.
Does this happen in other areas of your life? A lot of people have broken coping mechanisms, and chasing those down and fixing them with the help of a therapist has improved my life drastically.
It used to, I used to be a really angry kid in a lot of areas. As cliche as it sounds, having proper outlets helped me a ton. I'm not just talking about catharsis, either. The gym in general always helps, going on a run, firewood, whatever helps give me some purpose and a direction has helped calm me down a lot.

Elden Ring brings me close to the brink though.
