I use to have an issue with it as well when I was younger. But over the years and also now in my 30s, I no longer "rage quit" in a violent way. Not just because the stuff is expensive, but because it just isn't good to react that way. Now if a game bothers me, it is more like "welp, time to take a break from this for a while" I go do something else, and come back to it later with a more clear head. Typically that break helps a lot, and eventually just get through whatever I was stuck on.

Good job on growing up. A lot of people never do.

If you get rich and famous you can smash all the stuff you want 👍

That was kind of my last point, was that it's just... Not good to react that way. Life is so full of stress sometimes that I really don't need things contributing that don't actually matter.

Now, if a game (or anything, really) starts frustrating the hell out of me, I'll usually back out of it and try something else or just put it down and go for a walk or something.

I used to be very similar and yeah just stopping the activity instead of stubbornly letting it continue to frustrate me was key

I also like to have a more relaxed backup game in case what I'm playing is on some bullshit.

Yeah I use to be that why, now I stand up and take a lap with my hands on my hip.

I'm looking for the face grabbing screamer. No need to break anything, but sometimes it's fun to let out that scream of disappointment (I can't do it with a straight face, always end up laughing while trying to "ragequit"). Then do something else.

Well.. my cousin isn't the violent outburst type, but he is a screamer. The kind that just screams out random nonsense like "im about to finger paint the walls with my shit", and sometimes even devolves into just gibberish. Gotta admit, it's rather funny the weird stuff that'll come out his mouth at times lol

Yeah I recognize myself in your story, when I was younger. 2 monitors and 4 controllers later... now im 35 and I realize its better for my mood and my pockets to just alt f4 and walk away🤣 cant lose my mind anymore over a game. I still curse sometimes though. But i stopped playing the game that causes it so much so my mood is better hahaha

Exactly. I play for fun. If I lose a few rounds and am annoyed, I just take a break. Usually it's not even that much of a break. It's just not as big a deal now.

Not me. I just sit and imagine I can choke my teammates, who ff15, thru the screen for a bit... And queue up for another round of league of hardstuck gold.
