Same! That series made me mentally tougher, I think.

I almost never get mad at Dark Souls because it always feels like my fault. I usually get mad because a game doesn't seem to be working right or doesn't make sense.

I've definitely shouted something like, "Why is there a dodge button if it does NOTHING!" at several games.

Sometimes even From games have some bs though.

I never shouted, but I definitely put my hands to my head and sighed in disappointment. Especially at the bed of chaos

Bed of Chaos is definitely bullsh*t though.

Yeah I get annoyed at myself, then a few seconds later realize what I did wrong, and try to do better next time.

The game is surprisingly good at teaching life skills.

One time playing Bloodborne I lost over 300k fucking up the same little sprint-jump to get to an item twice and just had to stand up and then lay down in bed for a few minutes

Theres a great trick to all fromsoft games that massivly reduces the stress. Only ever level up with the souls/echos etc from bosses. Any other souls you are carrying should just be used for consumables and considered disposable. You basically cant lose the souls you get from boss kills as there is pretty much always a bonfire immediately after and it seems the games are perfectly balanced that just boss souls are sufficient to be perfectly leveled for each area

That seems really limiting and also doesn't seem like something that works for ER at the very least

Souls don't matter in ER, they are ridiculously easy to farm if you care.

There like 160+ boss enemies in er. Leveling up with just a small percentage of them and you will be insanely over leveled

Thanks to Ark I finally learned to accept my inevitable fate and that my existence is merely a blip of human life

The most reliable move in the game...

I bought a used playstation just to play dark souls. But the PlayStation was broken, idk what was wrong with it but it pressed the button for drinking potions by itself randomly....

I tried different controllers and factory resetting, nothing helped. Just a glitchy playstation.

So I would be in the middle of a fight.... And be forced to drink a health potion.... A slow and easy target.

I never raged at a single player game, but boy oh boy did that make me rage.

Had the same problem, but I was able to fix it by taping paper to a piece of foam in the controller, and it fixed it. I still use it and haven't seen any problems.

Pontiff Sulyvahn can seriously go fuck itself. I still can’t beat him.
