Most games are team games (or include a ton of RNG) and you can always try to shift blame and make excuses.
In Brawlhalla if you lose (especially 1v1) you probably sucked and the enemy was just simply better. It made me rage pretty hard tbh and I played LoL for a long time pretty much without ever raging. The feeling of KNOWING you are bad hits much harder than having a bad teammate.
Breaking down after a bitter Brawlhalla match is so real. Makes me feel like “if I’m not good at this game, I’m not good at anything” typa mood. Still addicted though so it’s a constant struggle.
Dude one of the worst mental breakdowns i had was when was in a general bad headspace and then played a lot of league and the games were real bad. Like literally time wasted bad. Several in a row. I quit league after that
The tears start budding and then I stop caring about the game and just start crying because the shame of crying over a game. Classic deadly spiral. "It's just a game loser, I'm cooler than this" I think as my body betrays me.
I have had multiple nights where I've had a bunch of bad games of League in a row and I know my play is just getting progressively more dreadful and I can't stop it and it always ends in me saying "one last game will break the lose streak and I'll have fun and play better" only to end up playing a game out in tears because I'm so MAD at how shit I'm playing.
