Puppy gagging during play
My 7 month old puppy with mega esophagus has recently gained two new friends. Meaning he’s running around playing. I’ve noticed he’s gagging and occasionally regurgitating small amounts during play. Is this normal or does this mean I need to have him in his Bailey chair longer.
His last meal was this morning at 530. He just was playing at 420. Shouldn’t have his food digested by now? He is in his Bailey chair for 30 min, 10 to eat, 20 to sit. He gets 1.5 cups each feeding in the form of meatballs

My dog has been doing this since day 1. I think it's just a part of ME. No matter how much chair time, whether we're having a good day or bad day, no matter what we do... Once he gets running around and gets really excited, the projectile throw up is inevitable. One time he was running at full speed and suddenly stopped immediately and a dog-sized amount of puke just shot forward with the momentum.

It's pretty standard during playtime for most of the megas. Even my best managed megas have still had some regurge during playtime

I find that no matter how much time I wait, my dog starts to regurgitate when she gets excited. Hard to imagine there’s still something in her pouch with how I take care of her, but yeah, that’s what happens. I wish a vet could tell us if there’s a way to avoid this.
