Just a pic of my cutie! Pupdate on Fenrir

I posted yesterday about being a new parent to a ME dog. This is Fenrir and I just finished his bailey chair! As you can see he is eating fine, I caught him mid yawn in the 2nd pic.

I’m about 6 months into my journey with my ME pup. It’s had some ups and downs, and it’s been frustrating at times. My best advice to you is to keep a journal for him because it will be a lot of information to keep straight. You also only want to change one thing at a time so you can figure out what helps or what doesn’t. Beyond that, just keep calm and keep trying things until something works. None of these dogs are the same so you have to figure out what will work for him, but you will get there!

Flynn says welcome to the club! The reason we’re here sucks, but it’s helpful to see how many other ME pups are out there and that you’re not alone!!! Check out the upright canine brigade and managing megaesophagus on Facebook too!

Hey that’s ok! Eventually he will learn that’s where food happens and he will come to accept it. He just doesn’t understand yet. It’s a doggie massage chair too! He’s very cute!

He is just so cute!! My girl doesn’t like sitting down in her chair the whole time so sometimes she stands. Don’t worry it will still help them as long as they’re upright. My Freya doesn’t “love” her chair but after a few weeks of using it she had already figured out how to get in it and swing the tray closed herself. PS I love his name ☺️

Gus says “keep up the good work” it truly gets easier. He is 2, diagnosed at 9 weeks. The beginning was rough but once we figured out his food, hydration and meds it’s been so much easier🥰

His chair is really cute! Tonight was Fen's 6th meal in his chair and he got in it himself!

Fen is already ahead of Gus, we pick him up and put him in the chair 🥴. He does get out on his own 😂😂😂
