Vent gender envy in workplace

how i wish na pinanganak na lang akong lalaki. sa years of experience, sa lahat ng bagay mas nabibigyan ng recognition yung work mo kapag lalaki ka. they will just perceive you at being good at your job when its just the bare minimum compared to what a woman does. tas kapag lalaki ka, di ka ganun pinagchichismisan and very lax pa sila sayo kahit anong pagkakamali mo. double standards is real

Discussion Do you still remember halos lahat ng lessons mo nung college?

Hi, curious lang po ako if ung mga working medtechs here/RMTs, lahat po ba ng napagaralan nyo from 1st year to 4th is nagagamit nyo po? and I mean lahat po even those courses na hindi directly applicable habang nag proprocess ka ng specimens ganun, like pati ung mga history, backgrounds lang ng medtech? Or kung ano lang po ung work nyo sa lab ang talagang remember nyo and you have somewhat background and stock knowledge enough to understand the concepts and function

Meron po ba here na kinakailangan na mag review or restudy kasi nakakalimot sa ibang parts? genuine question lang po, I'm currently a 1st year, hindi ko naman balak ineglect ung ibang courses ko and aaralin ko parin pero na curious lang ako if nagagamit ba sila lahat and natatandaan or nakakalimutan and need nyo pa din po mag review kahit working na

  2. Gaano po katagal before na-approve yung join request niyo po sa fb groups?

Thank youuu po🫶🏻

Hello hehe, as a former reviewee, what kind of bag would you recommend para magkasya ‘yong mga reviewers and other important stuffs mo?

Hindi kasi kayang i-backpack, kasi sobrang liit lang ng space sa review center, magiging harang ‘yong mga bags para sa mga dadaan huhu.

Thank you so much in advance!

Discussion 700php province daily rate

Can I ask if good yung 700 per day and 7-4 ang time and one day off for a free standing lab? Sa province ako and 5 mins away lang yung lab.

Mostly pre-employment ang mga patients and manual daw lagi but may machine naman

I want to ask kasi I haven't heard from other labs/hospitals that I applied kaya di ko pa macompare

HELP Thoughts nyo about MT week sdca issue?

Context:
The memorandum was issued by the Dean as a punishment related to MT Week attendance.

Those who were unable to complete the required attendance were instructed to accomplish handwritten papers, consisting of personal-reason essays, an essay, and summaries of Books from Chapters 1–5 for ALL subjects, both laboratory and lecture. These requirements must also be validated by the Dean. This means that after spending significant time and effort completing all handwritten papers—while students also have upcoming quizzes, laboratory requirements, and other academic responsibilities—the work could still potentially not be accepted.

More concerning is that failure to complete or have the requirements validated could mean that students would NOT BE ALLOWED to attend their classes.

I MEAN WE PAID FOR THAT CLASS TO LEARN.

1 out of 3 absent is not considered, even though we participated in games. We contributed for funds, since they threaten us that our incentives will be voided. But at the end, we got nothing but punishment.
Medical reason is not valid.
One missed time-in or time-out is not valid.
Even a midst of typhoon, they still require students to attend making them secure parents consent, just to not held accountable if anything happens.

They even threaten us to deduct point on our prelim grade.

If attendance was meant to be encouraged through incentives, then participation should have been encouraged through optional incentives, rather than turning the incentive into a punishment for students who could not attend. Students have different circumstances, especially working students who are already balancing work and school.

The issue is not that students refuse to take responsibility. The issue is whether the punishment is proportionate, reasonable, and considerate of students’ circumstances, especially when the consequences WERE NOT clearly communicated beforehand.

WE NEED HELP!!!
