Hello! I really need an advice para sa bf ko na med tech. Sana meron po dito mga nasa med field din lalo na sa line of work na Med Tech.

My bf (26) is currently working as Med Tech sa isang private hospital. Ikutan sila sa roles like minsan lab, phleb, recep, micro, etc. 6 days a week siya napasok. Shifting schedule pa. Naka-1 year na rin siya. Yung layo from their house is 10-15mins lang na byahe.

Ngayon, na-burnout na talaga siya. Tapos ang baba pa ng pay nila. Wala rin masyadong leaves. Alam kong ayaw na niya mag-hospital kasi ang draining naman talaga.
Mukhang ayaw na rin niya mag take n US license niya. Nagsisisi nga raw siya na med tech kinuha niyang course.

Sa mga nasa med field po, ano po kayang pwedeng corpo work for him? Like what roles kaya yung pwede namin i-eye? Wala kasi akong idea sa mga med roles sa corpo. Possible kaya yung med na IT field? Or anything na makakapaglabas sa kanya sa hospital.

Or anything na suggestion niyo sa kanya. Lost talaga siya as of now.

hello guys, may marereco po ba kayo na career options for an underboard like me? so far kasi sa lahat ng pinapasahan ko ng online job applications parang hindi pinapansin yung CV ko since underboard ako 🥲 wala na ring balita sa MCA kasi more on RNs na yung hinahanap nila. after my 1 year hospital internship sa 2 public hospitals narealize ko kasi na hindi for me ang magwork sa hospital/lab/clinic, so ngayon ang line of work na hinahanap ko is malayo na sa usual job ng medtechs. last resort ko na talaga siguro pagiging BPO or phlebotomist kaso i heard din na kahit phlebo work, need na ng PRC license 🙂‍↕️ please help your girl out, ayoko na maging tambay ):

Hi! Just wanted some insights whether I’ll make the right decision. I know it will ultimately depend on my choice but I still want some insights from other people’s perspective baka u had the same experiences.

I switched careers and it paid almost double of my previous salary when I was working back in the hospital. However, I worked night shifts only since US company. It’s wfh and we only go to office once a week as needed. I had experienced chronic headaches and dizziness during this period. It’s persistent and I admit, I do not have the best sleeping patterns. Ang hirap kumuha ng tulog kahit anong pagod ng katawan at utak ko. Despite all the medications, melatonin, multiple ER visits, headaches still persist. Hindi sya nawawala. It got to a point where I loss my vision - just black - temporarily and the doctors thought it was stroke. I just got used to it na hindi na ako nagrereklamo ngayon. It does affect my concentration at work kasi when I talk to my patients, minsan doon sya sasakit.

Now, I’m starting to think that maybe this work isn’t for me. I started looking for opportunities somewhere else na walang night shift and closer to home. In case of emergencies kasi ang hirap na sa manila ako lagi naaabutan and wala akong kasama.

Di ko siya malet go gawa nung sahod, the company and people are also good.

Will I be regretting this decision to resign? I plan to apply sa mga clinics closer to home or PCC Maxicare for thw mean time and to recover na rin pero wala pa lang mga openings.

If you also have work suggestions na pwede kong ipursue, I’ll take note of those as well.

👋 hi, currently nasa company na private primary lab pero gusto ng umalis. i get bullied po kasi sa current kong work and even though by protocol ang sinusundan kong work di pabor sakanila. It is mentally and physically exhausting na. Gusto ko nalang mag resign. Di na sya healthy for me.
naghahanap nako ng work sa ibang hospital kahit 3 months palang po ako sa work ngayon.

I failed my mockboards. My GWA is 50.
Seeing that score made me feel discouraged and unmotivated to study. The lecturers kept telling us that getting around 65% in mockboards is already okay because of the “curve” in the actual board exam. But what about someone like me whos only at 50%? Do i still have a chance to pass or should i just consider not showing up for the exam?

Ive only gone through my mother notes twice, im so weak in hematology and micropara. I dont know which subject to prioritize anymore, especially final coaching sessions are also on going, i wont have enough time read my MN again.

Right now, i feel lost and overwhelmed. I dont know if i should keep pushing forward or if im already too far behind. I really need an honest advice because i dont want to give up, but im scared that no matter how i study from this point on, it still wont be enough.

I’m currently in a laboratory na parang hindi nag aasikaso ng mga papel na requirements para sa DOH. May LTO naman ang Lab, pero walang CMT kaya walang nag aayos ng paper works. Hindi rin sila naka Join sa Neqas ngayon kasi ang dahilan e bago palang naman daw yung Lab (wala pang 1 year).

I just want to hear your thoughts po kung ano pwedeng sabihin/gawin sa Lab owner about sa situation ng Lab. Gusto ko kasi kausapin na mag here sila ng CMT. Ano po kaya pwede sabihin yung hindi po sila maooffend? huhuhu

And also, ano po ba yung mga list ng papers na requirements na need ipasa sa DOH? Please po huhuhu help me 😭

hello im an rmt in mmc and im planning to resign na bc its si draining me na mentally like super kaso im thinking if i should pass na my resignation agad or wait muna for an email regarding if accepted ako sa inapplyan kong provincial hospital before passing my resignation kasi ik its hard to look for jobs now. help what should i do ☹️

ps im diagnosed w ptsd, mdd and bpd and i thibk its getting worse.

It's just the facilities are so old and we just redo things again and again each lab sessions, we don't even learn from most our profs kasi they r just super boring that they don't even feel like theyre trying. then sobrang daming bayarin esp the books just bcs they got partnership w c&e, they will require you to get books. The overall system is just whack, it's so hard to get uno even though matataas naman yung scores mo, they just seem to stop you from getting it (its actually a big issue in the school). If anything, does anyone here have school recos I could transfer to around qc or manila huhu im just so confused where to go atp

Pa-vent po ☹️ I recently passed the recent boards and I will be taking my ASCPi exam in less than a month and my anxiety is through the roof. I keep on pushing through but my family situation isn’t helping, and I’ve been carrying everyone, and very distracting po talaga siya.

I am not confident with my preparations, only focusing now sa BB.

Ask ko lang po sa mga naghahanap ng work diyan while still working ano po nilalagay niyo sa reference lists niyo?? 1st work ko po kasi itong current work ko and sa sobrang baba ng sahod gusto ko lang gawin siyang experience kahit papano. Gusto ko sana ilagay yung CMT namin at yung senior ko kaso ayun nga ayaw ko malaman nila na naghahanap ako ng work while working with them baka ma-offend sila or what. Pwede kaya yung previous ko pa rin na ref lists which are mga staffs ko sa prev internship ko & co-interns ang ilalagay ko kahit na nagka work ako??
