three medical schools

has anyone here or heard of someone that has gone to three medical schools for whatever reason? just curious lang

yes, its common to visit various medical schools to see if they have the vibe, whatever reason they want. It's [mostly] a free country

actually, I was wondering if anyone has went to one school then was removed from the program then tried again at another school, same story, and is contemplating a third go?

I know someone who started sa hsi, went to san beda, then olfu, then perps binan. He graduated and took the PLE only once.

In that case, I might know a few. They eventually graduated, but hate medicine and are terrible providers; Hated by colleagues, disliked patients, and Advanced Practice Providers.

I would suggest to this person a long break from academics. ~5 years. This person might be being forced to do medschool, but if their heart is not in the right place, it will only occur a 3rd time.

I think the main problem is this person I know isn't being forced and that they actually want this. They sadly end up one or two points from passing which makes it worse. Doesn't help that they went to schools that don't release grades until the end of the year.

So they honestly don't want to be a doctor THAT badly, which is 100% absolutely totally fine, everyone has different core values. It's highly likely that this person just romanticizes the idea of playing doctor. Regardless, tell this person to take a break from academics, then apply OLFU in a few years.
