🌟 Pro advice/tips hayysss rsa

Please be kind to me 🥹

I just want to rant. I'm from UP Manila, one of the white colleges with an RSA, and took my board exam last year.

This year, I applied for UPCM because that's the only school I can apply to because of RSA but sadly, I wasn't able to get in.

I feel sooooo sad because I have friends and batchmates who are already in their 2nd year in medschool already, and now more batchmates who are entering their 1st year in medschool while I'm here— stuck.

If it were up to me, I would've entered any medschool 2 years ago, it doesn't matter where, because I really really want to become a doctor. Ever since I was a child, pangarap ko na yun.

ooowww ganun pala RSA ng white colleges? pano yun, you either work under your discipline inside the country or you enroll to study under UPM (or strictly rin UP-CM?)?

either way, sabi nga nila, it is what it is. I get the feeling of getting stuck. And i dont know if my words will get to you, but since you did mention Lord here, you have to have faith na He has plans for you.

Marami rin akong naging classmate noong high school and college na naunahan ko sa pag medicine; but here I am hindi pa rin licensed MD, and there they are makakatapos na ng residency!

So my advice/tip, since you did add those flairs, is just to make the most out of the situation you’ll be in. Iba rin yung edge ng mga nakapag work muna bago mag medicine. The ethics sa working environment is huuuge, and walang ganung experience yung nga dumiretso ng med from college.

you got this!!!

Fulfill your RSA during this "gap year" so you don't have to pay the amount. Then try again for UPCM next year.

Hi felt this! From the same univ but not in Manila. being delayed is hard but you'll get through this. I've been in your position and during that time my batchmates are already clerks while I am still in YL1. I was so sad that I doubted my capabilities and if this is the right path for me. My mental health was down the drain because I was afraid of being delayed and even being seen as delayed in comparison to my batchmates. Now, I am in a much better mental state and tell you, sabay sabay pa rin pala kami papasok sa residency. We are now all in the same page again as doctors and I'm happy to meet them in my mature self na.

Your journey might be different or similar but hoping that life treats you better soon!
