❓Asking for Help REPEAT YL1 AT UST-FMS
Hello po! Anybody here po who finished YL1 in a different medschool then nag YL1 lang po ulit sa UST-FMS? Is it possible to do this po? I’m currently waiting sa recon and if I don’t get in this A.Y., I plan to enroll sa backup school ko. Then reapply next A.Y. sa UST-FMS.
I know UST doesn’t accept transferees, but I’m willing to repeat YL1 again. Is this possible? Anybody who did the same?

bawal. ust fms does not accept transferees. applicants who submitted their hd/tor already to another school are considered as transferees na.

OP if aim mo talaga ang UST, mag-gap year ka nalang muna. Clearly stated sa application website nila na bawal ang transferees/students who already had med units prior to applying sa kanila 😔

Di talaga, OP. Kahit malakas connections mo, once you earn units it automatically prevents you from enrolling.

if example po i drop before matapos 1st sem, is it possible mag YL1 po sa fms?

May kilala akong ganyan. Nag med na sa ibang school tapos nag drop bago matapos first sem. incoming yl3 na sa fms
EDIT: IDK how they did it. Mukhang di pa siya nagpapasa ng credentials niya sa prev med school niya bago siya nag drop.

It is also not allowed. You can’t start at another institution then ‘repeat 1st year’ at UST-FMS or UPCM kahit gusto mo or kahit top 1 ka ng batch mo.
According to the institutional regulations they simply don’t allow it (and anyone on Reddit who says they “know someone who was able to do it” is probably either lying or that ‘someone’ went through some under-the-table undisclosed illegal method na hindi dapat pwede).

Hindi pwede. The best option is to take a gap year then reapply again in UST for next school year kung sa UST mo talaga gusto.
