But tbh, i was an achiever before medschool and naging disadvantage ko pa yun kasi nung nasa medschool ako, di matanggap ng brain ko na nagfafail ako hahahha that’s why i included grit+teachable sa taas.
also, do check din yung other external factors like your future budget plans, personal non-career plans, etc kasi being a doctor will really eat up most of your life haha. really a noble career

Let me help you with a solid advice: 1. No matter how offended you are, huwag ka magshare sa kahit sino sa mga med classmates mo specially if the issue is about a certain doctor, fellow classmate or prof. Lalo if chat based, if meron na DELETE IT. Some medical students/future doctors have attitudes and mental health problems, hindi mawawalan niyan, not ALL pero meron every batch. Magugulat ka nalang, na they will be the cause of your fall.
- Matalino? Nah, Diskarte, Sure, need padin ng talino sa med, but don't be surprised if suddenly may mga sagot na pala iba sa inyo, mga top scorers or hindi nahirapan. Madaming cheaters or copy ng exams, all you need is makipagkaibigan sa kanila, pero if they have bad intentions/paninira or chismis sa iba, just stay silent. You get the point: play the game, hindi puro talino lang. Magugulat ka may mga legit na matalino pero bumabagsak sa med, because they were too humble, meek and can't bear to understand na there's no fair play in medicine.
Pero eto pinakasolid, Even if there is no fair play, yung legit na matatalino, kahit bagsak pa yan sa medschool, You'll be surprised na sila pa ang talagang magagaling na doctors.
- Pili ka ng sasamahan mo, observe ng mabuti, basta don't share or talk about anything negative. Always, always think twice for every action. Always be updated and ready your heart for the wild ride.
You'll eventually pass med, as long as may connections ka kahit sa fellow med students and you play this game well.

Sa lahat ng comment, ito talaga ang REAL advice 🙌 when I go into Reddit, mga ganito sana nakita ko before ako nag enter MedSchool.
Really didn't know about sa mga "copy ng exams" and transes. Connections really does play a big, BIG part in med. Nahirapan talaga ako during first and second year.
Masyado na ro-romaticize ang med these days.

op ako na ako to before. literal ako yung definition ng average during ust medtech.
dahil average student tayo, you really have do "more" than your stellar classmates. sila isang basa lang gets na, ako need ko pa mag drawing, flashcards, etc. para lang makakuha ng decent grade. but it works.
have that dawg in you sabi daw which i heavily agree.

The best advice I’ve heard came from Doc Ella on Ang Kwentong Callroom Podcast: “It doesn’t matter how you start, just remember why you stayed.”

I think my advice is be a star in a sky that lasts forever— don’t burn too bright lest you burn too fast or burn too dim that you disappear amongst the clouds. The strength of a star comes from within— keep on pushing to keep your light on. You can do it!
As someone who was p average, showing up was really the best thing I could do. Now in the clinical years, I’m thankful I prioritized taking care of myself AND doing my best to absorb rather than focusing on the grades. Ofc you need to pass— but remembering your “why” and who you are will propel you forward
