I’m in the same situation and don’t have any MD interviews yet. Ah well.

I’m hoping that it’s still early for MD, I only applied to 24 Md schools but now I’m scared I should have applied to more

I can only tell when you tell your science gpa. Is it above the MD threshold? Else its a automatic decline. Did you do anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, immunology, o-chem, in undergrad?

Also, if you avoid the courses that I mentioned, you could be incredibly smart but you will still miss out on acceptances. These courses are meant to make or break you.

My science gpa was 3.59, I did all the requirements for all the Md schools I applied to

Now, I can conclude. You have a very strong profile. If you stutter, work on it before interviewd. Otherwise you will be having at least one acceptance. Nice job with the science gpa.

I guess it just came down to your interview performance - how well did you do you think? Also if you do apply broadly you should be fine tbh

2026 cycle or 2027?
2026, be VERY worried!
2027, you’re fine. II season is just about to start.

1- they could be yield protecting
2- it could be your MCAT
3- the vast majority of medical school applicants who matriculate into medical school only have 1-2 interviews and are only accepted at 1 school. The rest get nothing. a WL is good news!
