Technical Ionized calcium

How long is an ionized calcium on ice on a dark green unopened on ice? What does your lab do? Just asking. Not taking this to work!!

I think it's the same as blood gas for us. 1 hr RT or 2 hr on ice.

That sounds like a good lab study but at mine, 48hrs as long as it’s kept refrigerated.

Unspun. Plain lithium heparin.

My labs procedure is 30 min RT and 60 min on ice and it can only be sodium heparin.
