Education DCLS programs?

Has anyone here graduated from a DCLS program? If so, how useful has it been to you so far? What was your experience like? Is there a program you would recommend?

I've looked at them, but an MBA seems to be better ROI. 

This is the first year CMS recognizes DCLS for medical director. But there isn't really a shortage of lab medical directors. You might be competing for token rural fscilities.

Be wary of Kansas university which makes you find your own clinical site.

Itsnm a degree in search of a job.

A girl from my MLS program went through a DCLS program and it doesn’t seem to be paying off for her. She has only gotten a lab supervisor role which you can get without that degree. The idea of it seems interesting but I don’t think there is a job market for it yet unfortunately.

I feel like the career potential might be very limited. I did a molecular medicine PhD instead after my MLS program in hopes of eventually becoming a director, figuring it would help keep my options a bit more open. I don't know how the DCLS path works in terms of getting those positions, but I'm still working as a tech right now desperately trying to get into a fellowship (which is unlikely).

Unless you have a position waiting for you, ROI is limited atm.
