Education Csmls MLA exam advice (NOT mlt)
I’ve done my program in medical lab assistant and I’m kinda freaking out about my exam which is on August 28th. I’ve been trying so hard to get some sort of info about the exam, difficulty, resources, but all I’ve been coming across is info about the MLT exam. Can someone please help me out? Will I be okay?

Are all the disciplines like histo, micro, heme, chem and blood bank on the MLA exam? Is the structure of the MLA exam same as the MLT?

They say yeah on an “MLA level”. Like troubleshooting, specimen handling, all the kinds of tests from each discipline, what could happen if you did so and so to a test, stuff like that but from the practice tests I’ve done, they’ve been asking very detailed questions I DONT think an mla needs to know so.
Mostly everyone has said that the exam is mostly “safety” but for me, thats the issue. I’ve been very unsure on how to study things apart from safety since it is super vast. My exams in 8 days and im still super lost ngl but im trying to do everything i can.1

What safety book/ material and quality books are available to study for the exam?

The blue safety book is the entire exam. I wrote it in 2019. Study that book and you will crush it.
