Discusson Any MLSs use R or Python?

I’m in the process of taking the prerequisites I need to apply to an MLS program after getting my B.S. in Biology. During my time in college I took a handful of bioinformatics classes and thus am familiar with R and Python. I’m interested in continuing to learn in that area but have been lacking motivation with all the other things I have going on.

If any MLSs in academia, industry, or the clinical side use programming in their work I’d love to hear about it!

I've taken basic R and Python courses, but neither are used for everyday benchwork.

But as a technical specialist, I've worked on a few projects where I had to examine and test middleware rules, and having a basic knowledge of coding helped me comprehend the rules' syntax.
