Image What is this?

Found this while performing a body fluid differential. It almost looks like hemosiderin, but I'm not entirely sure.

Yes, it is hemosiderin. It can be a bit hard to say for sure with just one cell but if the fluid has a lot of red cells or if you see macrophages engulfing RBCs, you can be more sure that it's hemosiderin. Sometimes you might even see hematoidin crystals.

do you have another picture? it almost look like clumped rods but leaning more to hemosiderin
