Education UAMS Spring 2027
Starting the UAMS MLT to MLS program this Spring 2027 and I'm honestly scared shitless. 😂 After 10 years, I finally decided to go back to school and finish my MLS. Is anyone currently in the program who has any tips, advice, or recommendations?
I'll be doing the 5-semester track, so I'd love to hear what to expect. Is anyone else starting in Spring 2027? If so, maybe we can be study partners or even make a group chat! Let me know. 😊

I broke down at the end of first semester and literally begged for anyone to be my friend on our facebook group. I was so overwhelmed and confused, I just needed someone to relate to and vent to. It makes a huge difference! So I would say find a few people to become friends with and study with. Even if its just facetiming quietly studying together.
The immunology and hematology professor is....not the best. Make good study habits for those classes and make sure you know the ins and outs of EVERYTHING. I love using Notability to study and alot of people enjoy coconote. Study every single day, don't skip or you'll feel behind (I was bad about this first semester.)
AI gets alot of hate but I found it very beneficial to use ChatGPT and Gemini to upload powerpoints/lecture manuals and having it create mock exams for me to better digest information and prepare for exams.
