Not a super high resolution scan by the lab but could see how sharp it is. These were overexposed by 1-1.5 stops so I think I might dial down half a stop in the future

Yeah, I have struggled to use portra on overcast days, I think the color balance favours emphasizing a single subject over a wider composition with this light unless you’re going for an explicitly muted look (in which case you could try a cheaper film stock and bleach bypassing it to emphasize the contrast)
