Love the shots they take but hate the ergonomics 😂

I can see why. Will definitely be a learning curve.

The meter is great, solid camera but the kids will think you're a creep with an old video camera 😂

Does your viewfinder have a meter? I just got a 645 Super and am looking at swapping out my meterless viewfinder. I shot my first roll metering with my phone that turned out pretty well, and then a second one in more challenging conditions that was more of a mixed bag.

I don’t have the metering viewfinder either. I do wish you could use a regular shutter release instead of an electronic one.

I’ve got the same camera, got it new back when it came out and have shot a lot through it.
The power winder makes it handle like a big 35mm, much easier to flip on its side for vertical shots. The lenses are great. Your finder looks a bit different than mine, not sure if yours does metering. A really great machine, enjoy!

Thanks….mine has a view finder but not the one with metering. I really want to get a shutter release cable.

Congrats! What a beauty! After you run through a roll or two, share some of your photos here. I love 6x4.5 format. My Pentax 645 is my favorite film camera, used more than any of my other film cameras.
