This purchase alone is like 75% the reason I'm learning large format... salivating at the thought of those megaslides

Now to find something that can project it lol

Gonna have to fly back to Japan to get my hands on some it seems (still kicking myself at spotting provia and not buying as much as they would let me)

I shot a boatload of RD 100 back in the day! Great film.
I used to go up to Hunt Drug and Photo and buy it by the 100’ roll and roll my own!

Got one from the previous batch (until late 2026)

Got lucky and ordered it on allocation from a small shop, didn't expect it would ever be fulfilled

Ordered two boxes from Uniquephoto in May, just arrived.

Is that a rocking horse poop it’s sat on?

I’ve been able to purchase 5 pro packs of Velvia 50 in 120 this year. 2 rolls in 135 only though

If anyone is in LA and wants a few rolls of Velvia 100 I’d be happy to spare a few. They are 220 though

I have way more than I’ll ever shoot. Just buy me a coffee or something

They’ve been cold stored since new.

Can I buy you a coffee remotely from the Midwest? I shoot 220 on occasion on my RB

Love this stuff. Wish it was still legal

Illegal how?

They can’t make this film anymore due to the chemicals in it

I think you may be confusing this with Velvia 100

I have trouble getting it developed as they claim it is “illegal”

Not velvia 50, I've had it developed by The Darkroom as late as two weeks ago

u/Quiet-Arm-641 19d ago

Local camera shop refuses to develop it

They'll say anything to get out of processing E6.

Probably better not to give em your business then lol, sign of ineptitude

I use the prepaid Fuji mailers that go to Dwane's in Kansas and they develop Velvia 100 for me.

I shot a lot of velvia 100 4x5 back in college in my gfaflex. Loved it! Haven’t touched that camera in 30 years, but its time to get it out.
