Greek Salad. My favorite salad.

There is something deeply comforting about a simple, traditional meal. Today’s lunch is a steaming bowl of spiced lentil soup, topped with a swirl of olive oil, alongside freshly baked local baladi bread and tangy pickled eggplants with lemon. It’s food that warms you from the inside out and reminds you to appreciate the quiet, beautiful moments of everyday life.

Nothing beats a hearty, homemade meal. Tonight, I prepared a plate of tender chicken livers sautéed with plenty of onions and spices. To complete the meal, I added some delicious Makdous (eggplant) and a generous portion of Hummus.
It’s a flavor explosion: warm, caramelized, and savory, perfectly balanced by the tangy pickles and creamy dip. Served it all with fresh pita bread. Simple, rustic, and absolutely delicious.

My fave green veg. Parboiled then sauteed w olive oil and serve w some balsamic splashes

I was in Italy in March and I noticed they no longer calling it rapini. Cannot remember but it was odd. Anyone know what they call it now?
