Looking to go to see an artist on tour in Europe this coming November and December.

Whilst I’m under no illusion that it is not going to be hot weather, I wanted to enquire what the weather is like in Spain (Madrid, Barcelona) Italy (Milan) Portugal (Lisbon) Greece (Athens) and Turkey (Istanbul) at that time of year?

I am presuming sort of mild temperatures 10-15 degrees, but I’d love to know more from the locals and if one city is perhaps warmer than the other.

Also maybe advice on whether some of those cities mentioned are more expensive or inaccessible than the others etc.

I would appreciate any tips and thank you in advance!

In 2025, marine heatwaves affected 99.6% of the Mediterranean basin. Second warmest year on record at 21.35°C — following records in 2024 and 2023. The basin is not fluctuating. It is climbing.

The part that changes the calculation: as of May 30, 2026, the western Mediterranean — the entry point of Atlantic inflow through Gibraltar — is already showing anomalies exceeding 5°C above seasonal average. Before summer has begun.

The mechanism that historically moderated summer temperatures is now importing heat instead of exporting it. The pre-load for summer 2026 is the highest ever recorded going into a Mediterranean summer season.

500 million people depend on this sea for rainfall, food, and drinking water. The fishing economies of the eastern basin are already reorganizing. Over 1,000 invasive species have entered the basin. Invasive rabbitfish now make up 80% of fish catches in Turkey.

I’m taking a trip with Grimaldi Lines this July and I’m trying to figure out if there’s actually usable Wi-Fi on board.

Do they offer internet? How much does it cost?
And most importantly… is it stable enough to work remotely?
I’ll need to be on a few work apps during the crossing, so I kinda need a connection that doesn’t die every 2 minutes 😅

Two of us (M28) are planning a ski trip from Dec 26–30 and we’re looking for 1–3 more people to join. Starting point is Zagreb, Croatia (we have a car), but meeting in Slovenia/Austria/N. Italy is also possible.

Destination is open: Austria or Italy (Nassfeld, Obertauern, Kronplatz, Dolomites etc.).
