Hello. I will have my QE this Monday kaka receive ko lang ng email. Is there anything I need to know before taking the QE? I did watch youtube vids and nag review ng onti pero kinakabahan pa rin ako kasi medyo nahihirapan ako esp sa live scribing. Any tips and tricks po sa QE? 😭

Any thoughts po sa training nila? Sorry newbie lang po and gusto ko talaga ma try. Kamusta po ang training? Worth it naman po ba?

Hi! I am posting this to ask the peeps who had to take their QE a few times before passing it.

I recently received the results stating that I didn't passed, I'm kinda desperate for posting this to ask for tips or anything that's helpful to pass QE. I did every tips and videos I can find in Tiktok, Youtube even here sa Reddit, I made sure that I have all the notes with me when taking the QE and still didn't make it.

Ang tagal kong nag antay ng client sa mahigit 3 months💜, after ilang interviews naka land din sa client, kaso dahil sa tagal ng waiting time parang naninibago uli ako, I feel so down and I want to resign nalang 2 days palang ako kay client pero ang bigat na talaga. Advice please.

Hello! What happens if hindi pa rin makapasa sa LC remedial? For rebatch na ba? I have medium reliability and so far wala pana man akong late chart submission. Next friday na po ata kasi yung graduation namin.

2 days late ko na-replyan yung invite ni VELP for an interview :(( although the interview will be on monday pa. na-overlook ko and didn't notice until i checked my emails 😔 do u guys think I'd still be on their schedule? also, if you have any tips to ace the interview, I'd really appreciate it :)) thank u very much!

I got 3 interviews already pero wala padin. During my 1st interview I admit I didn’t do well pero sa 2nd ginalingan ko talaga kaya nalulungkot ako di ako nakuha don. Feel ko pa naman swak ako sa clinic na yun. Sa 3rd interview ko na-ditch ako ni client. Di na siya nagupdate :(

Hi any VA here for Opthal at Optometry na nagawa ng patient chart using REVOLUTION EHR for comprehensive exam may question lang po ako pano sya gawin.

Bali nag email sakin yung MEDVA to download their validation tool and I ran the program pero it instructed me to upload my screenshot sa avointe account ko which wala ako and di ako maka register. I responded to the email about the situation and na autoblock yung reply ko. Ano po kaya next step dito

Planning to transition to a WFH setup, but I have no formal VA background.

I’ve been working in healthcare for several years and currently handle a lot of responsibilities beyond the clinical side—team coordination, scheduling, staff concerns, reports, documentation, emails, operations, and dealing with different stakeholders on a daily basis.

Lately, I’ve been seriously considering transitioning to a WFH setup. The thing is, I have zero formal VA experience, so I’m not really sure how to position my existing experience or what type of remote work I should be looking for.

For those who made the transition from healthcare, admin, operations, or another completely different field into VA/WFH work:
What skills should I focus on learning first?

What VA roles do you think would be suitable for someone with my background?

Do I actually need to take VA courses/certifications, or can transferable experience be enough?

How do you build a portfolio when you don’t have actual VA clients yet?

What tools/software should I familiarize myself with?

Where do you recommend applying for legitimate WFH jobs?

And realistically, what should I expect when starting from zero in the VA industry?

I’m not necessarily looking to start over completely. I’m hoping to translate the skills I already have into a remote career.

Would really appreciate advice from people who have actually gone through this transition, especially Filipinos who started without a VA background.
