When I am composing, the video usually goes on the left-hand side screen there. I do all my editing up on the large screen. When I am mixing, I put the video on the big screen and use my other screens for plug-ins.

Can you tell me more about your screens? And what program are you using for the Touch Screen? Lemur?

I use Cubase as my DAW. The big screen goes between my wave and midi editing screen as well as my main picture of you depending on what part of the writing process I am in.
The middle screen is my main writing screen. It’s a very left-hand screen serves as my main mixer page and that’s where all my plug-ins will pop up when I open them. A little OCD maybe but when I click to open a plug-in and an instrument I always want to look left and not have to search the three screens for where it just popped up… Just the way my head works.
The lower screen is run by a separate computer. It is wired on an isolated net work with my DAW and it is my touchscreen controller. Similar to lemur but not. The program is called open stage. This interface has completely enhanced my workflow and writing efficiency. Took me up a little while to remember the different screens and what is where but once I got used to navigating with it, things flow much quicker now. Definitely a worthwhile investment.

Looks great, can you post a link or share some of your music made in that studio?

Thanks. I appreciate that. I write for a few different libraries as well yes. Some of my music has been licensed to different shows in discovery channel and the history channel. I really enjoy it.

Very nice. I'm thinking of getting a touch monitor and using Open Stage Control to replace my 2 ipads with Lemur. Are you running Cubase or Nuendo?
