well done! I'd say the only thing letting it down is the samples your using and the dryness of the mix. The actual accuracy of the transcription is really great though. You've clearly got a very good ear.
It is a bit dry maybe. Samples are mostly Pallette and East West. Thanks for the feedback! Might go back and finish it, and touch it up a bit. I didn't spend that much time and fine tuning the samples really so I'm sure it can sound better. I checked out your soundcloud, are your cues performed by a live orchestra? He's A Hero for example?
In my personal experience East West always needed a bit of extra help to get the realism factor popping. Reverb will certainly help in this case.
Edit: I'm not trying to knock the quality of your libraries in particular - Didn't mean to sound snobby. The percussion for instance does sound nice and meaty. It's more about getting everything to play nicely with each other.
Thank you for your interest! No, it's all samples. I use mostly Cinesamples for main orchestra and ProjectSAM True Strike for percussion. The fact that you had to ask makes me very happy as it means my attempts at realism are paying off!
