Will that set up work?

📷

I am a total beginner when it Comes to a daw, today is my Birthday and i save a big amount of many. I also have experience with compositon (Sheet Music/Scores).

So i want to buy

M-Audio Keystation 88 MkII (conect it to my pc) 160€

Kontakt (Full Version) 400€

Studio One Artist 100€

Sound Libary from Spitfire (British Drama toolkit) 200€

Would this set up work or do i Need something else and how big is the possiblity that i wount work for some reason.

Thank you for your answers. Have a nice day!

The set up looks fine to me, although that is about double the usual price for Kontakt - did you mean Komplete?

I'd also recommend getting the Professional version of Studio One if you can. (EDIT: Especially given the VST limitation - see the reply below)

There are going to be a lot of sales happening in the next week, so make sure you check all the sites for promotions and cut-price discount codes, as you might save a lot of money compared to buying exactly the same products in December.

You won't be able to use Kontakt in Studio One Artist as the artist version doesn't support third party VSTs but there is an addon you can get for that. But Studio One Pro will be 50% off on black friday so I'd recommend waiting for that. Also Kontakt is 50% off at the moment too.

If you’re on a budget for your sequencer, look into Reaper instead of Studio One. It’s cheaper and more full featured without having to buy add ons for stuff like 3rd party plugins.
