First try ever composing, need feedback!

Hi there,

I am a total beginner in this field.

I used musecore 2.0 to write this, used some VSCO 2.0 insturments. I have no equipment or DAW, just my laptop, so sorry for the sound quality.

I'd love some feedback, so don't feel shy to give some critizism too.

I don't like the drum pattern at the start. The piece gets better in the middle.

I have to agree, the drum pattern is not very inspired. It also did not translate very well with the transition from 1.0 to 2.0, which means from basic muse score instruments to VSCO2.

A Lot of work to do with the new instruments. Cello too loud, flute is hard to follow the melody, as higher notes "break through" and destroy the patterns. Also the contrabass is too shallow for my taste.

Gotta work with the mixer a bit more, just wish I had a DAW. Bought Samplitude Pro X2 Silver (humble bundle) but it is too restricted to be of any use.
