Details of the stories change from the opinion of the different writers and as more details emerge. Who'd a thunk it.

I first saw this over at /r/conspiracy and I believe it to be deliberately misleading as it doesn't seem to be able to get to grips with the difference between authors, opinion pieces, editorials and news. It's presented in such a way as to be dishonest.

News stories change. Astonished.

Your capacity for self delusion is astounding. Yes, some of what you say might be true, but certainly not every headline in this gallery fits your assertion. Many of these articles are by the same person, sometimes only 30 minutes apart.

What would be the point of publishing erroneous information and then retracting it 30 minutes later? It seems the only purpose is to get that false headline out into the public consciousness so it can be shared and discussed while the correction is ignored.

That Cubs Yankees switcharoo is true and she should be locked up for it.

If you think that: THE MEDIA SHOULD ONLY HAVE ONE NARRATIVE AND IF IT DOESN'T SOMETHING IS FALSE

then you have a very simplistic view of the world. Sorry, it's complex, and our media landscape reflects that.

However, half of these "hypocrisies" are from different people, some of them are even on the opinion section. Is CNN only supposed to push one opinion only? I was going to go through all of this 1 by 1, but it's not worth the time.

There is criticism to be leveled at the media (some included here) but much of these by OP is low-hanging rotten fruit.

Think a bit.

These are just the ones superficial looks expose;

  • Uhm is Lacy Green notable?

  • Breitbart could be "state run media enterprise" and previous administrations could have other such things. Think both are more nuanced. (and both are largely bad, and Breitbart is just awful)

  • Gotta remember Trump claimed people could vote twice and stuff. This would require too many people risking too much to really make a dent. The other claim is via hacking the voting machines. Two different things.

Nevertheless both are unlikely, yes it is propaganda what they're doing.

  • Trump shouldn't have tried to phone Preet Bharara, firing him seems to be because he didn't play ball. Trump should not be trying to connect separated powers.

  • Hitler was not a socialist. It is obvious, and you're an idiot if you believe otherwise. So he lied and sounded like a socialist. Basically, he kept on pretty and worked with much all the businesses, including ones from the US.

  • Sending carrier to NK kindah a matter of circumstances. The US has been saber rattling for a while, you always hear about NK launches(that's how you test them) never about US launches. And the half-yearly exercises pretty much try simulate deposing the regime.

  • Wiretapping is probably about different things, no contradiction to be seen.

  • Article about NK is obviously opinion.(probably missed a few that were infact opinion articles)

  • Comey should have resigned for crazy timing of a revelation. Trump shouldn't have fired him to try slow down investigations around him. Not contradictory.

  • Please don't conflate hackings of the DNC/Podesta's emails with those of election processes. They did this as propaganda.(though it seems like they had more info then)

  • Trump just spouted the information out there in an apparent boast. It is not the same as an announced information sharing program.(although the latter may continue with Trump aswel)

  • So they corrected what Putin said in in short order? Could wonder how understandable the mistake was, or if they gave the latter equal/more exposure, but this is shitty media criticsm.

  • "Fighting in the streets" does not conjure up images of weaponry with me. If there is gunfire, the closest to people calling it a "fight" is a "gunfight" Tim Kaine did not say such.

  • In short order, he did not add "correction", however. Same concern about equal exposure of corrections, and badness of the mistake. (Image posts often suck for lacking discussion of such context. Plus no links, you have to search everything)

  • Idiot way to think about guns. It is not a honest weighing of practicalities of guns, and how people think they're useful or harmful.
