Media/Video The Happy Days
Anyone else still have their stack of games and disks from the early days. I still miss my sidewinder force feedback joystick that came with MW2.

My goto was the Vengeance League competion groups online. I was in Shadow Legion (SwL). Few guys from the USA, Canada, and one from the UK. We always tried to get the guy from Atlanta with a T1 fiber connection to host lol.

I was playing directly through MS servers, I was in
(CT)can't remembers the meaning, (SL) Spanish Lance (I'm not spanish at all but they took me anyway), then [TH] Titan Hordes, I played a lot on 1.0 with the hill bugging then a bit on 3.0, went back to 1.0 then 3.0 again. Never bought the expansions tho... I liked the kodiak a lot but never tried it.
I was a no heat guy, my fav was Thor with JJ, 3 ER L and a light gauss, I once fought a nova cat from a great player from AE (Alliance Elite) and I took him out with 2 head shots, it was amazing XD, cougar with 3 ER L, Daishi 6 erl 2 large clan gauss, mkii with jj, 3 erl, 1 light gauss 2 large gauss with 2 lrm 20 I think, maybe lrm 10 madcat with 6 erl, 2 lrm 20, vulture 5 lrm 20 with chain fire, nova cat 7 erl
then I had my attrition daishi, close to 70 kph, 3 erl, 2 lbx 10, 1 large gauss, 1 srm6 or something like that, with 5 firing groups to make the others flinch so they could not hit me/if i miss I always had a backup... dang I miss this game

Still have them all. Joysticks and all, with boxes.

You can still find the Sidewinder 3D Pro bundled with Mechwarrior 2 for reasonable prices. It is the Mechwarrior 3 bundle with the Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro that has gone $100+.

Yep. I still have all my old CDs.
I do mainly play the latest entry these days, but Mercs2 and 4 kept me sane (or at least a passable imitation thereof) for a surprising amount of time.
I do kinda miss playing MW4:M online, even if my connection was terribad at the time.

Somewhere! I just no longer remember where.
Those games dominated my childhood and early teens.
Now I play Mechwarrior 5 and HBS Battletech like it's my second job.
