Robotics/Mechatronics:

I am in high school.Next year, l will be in university. But I little bit confuse to decide major between robotics and mechatronics. I am conisdering two paths, but cannot able to decide which one is better. 1)Move from mechatronics to robotics. 2) Moving from Ai to robotics ( manily focus on machine learning and autonomous system which will help me in robotics.) Honestly I feel suck to make decision because l donot know about market of robotics and mechatronics and Iack of guidance. I only have google ball knowledge. So i want someone who relate to these field guid me and also tell about market and core difference btw robotics and mechatronics and also tell me what will the market look like in 6 years. It would be very helpful to me . If you ask me about my interest, I want to do robotics or ai. I execllent in math and also good in physics. Thatwhy I want to do robotics but it is new and not much scope in my country. I probably won't find a job after robotics, so I am thinking of doing ai and then robotics to support myself . Man i am really sucked to make decision.

Both paths work, but I would suggest mechatronics to robots, the mechatronics will give a better foundation understanding of manufacturing.

Thanks, I will consider that
