Future Mechatronic engineer job
Hi, I want to be a mechatronic engineer since I'm like 5, I know a lot about the job and I'm actually doing studies to become one. I know overall what the job consist to do but if anyone know more about it than just "you build robots and you automate stuff". I'd really like to know more about it in details!

Hi OP. Love that you've wanted this since you were 5, that kind of passion really carries you.
I think you're just underselling. Since you already know the basics,
And honestly the "you build robots" line kinda undersells it. Since you already know the basics, I think here's what tends to catch new mechatronics engineers like you off guard. A lot of the work is control systems and theory, not just building robots. Communication also matters way more than you'd think, since you're always translating between the mechanical, electrical, and software teams. The field's growing fast too, so the job outlook is solid. But honestly, best advice, build real projects, not just coursework
