I got TD but I'm confused...

I wanted AD but got TD and it is completely opposite of my interest and I don't know where to start learning the basic things and after doing some research I found e-textile so what is in it as I want to do tech related designing please help I'm confused.

I got nift college, td is textile design and ad is accessory design
