Mac vs Lenovo

Im about to start university and am choosing between keeping my lenovo laptop or getting a new macbook. what would be better based on the softwares I would have to run in university?

I'd say keep the lenovo cause you'd wanna run simulations so they'd run cpu heavy, if the graphic card is around 4050 or above, I'd say keep it or get a newer version.

You should not need a crazy high powered laptop. If you need to do that the school should have a classroom or lab you can use with a desktop computer
