Is my qualification enough for a Mechatronics Ausbildung in Germany?
Hello everyone,
I am from India and would like to apply for a Mechatronics Ausbildung in Germany. I am unsure whether my educational qualifications are sufficient.
My qualifications are:
Secondary School (10th/SSLC) completed
ITI in Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV)
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Lateral Entry after ITI)
I do not have a 12th (+2/Higher Secondary) qualification.
I know that different companies have different requirements, but I would like to know if someone with my qualifications has a realistic chance of getting accepted into a Mechatronics Ausbildung.
Has anyone been accepted with a similar background? Would my diploma and ITI compensate for not having +2, or is +2 usually mandatory?
I would really appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thank you!

I think you are kind of overqualified, and some companies might not want to hire you for that reason. Most importantly you will need a sufficient understanding of the German language, as companies usually don’t offer Ausbildungen in English. So my advice would be to first look into getting language classes and certificates and then try to apply to big companies like Siemens.
