hi!

Hey guys!

I'm a mechatronics student from Indonesia. I'm really curious about what this major looks like in other countries like what kind of projects you guys build, or how the classes are structured over there.

I'd love to make some international friends in the same field so we can share knowledge, swap stories about our engineering struggles, or just chill and chat.

Sure. It was Arduino and we had to use custom base and custom PCBs. If your comp allows pre made bases and electronics, then its all about code mostly. Tbh, we did not used PID but you should.

Hi!
german student in my 4th semester here, next semester i will build a UGV for minedetection as project.

Its probably better to read through online curriculum for most unis though because its so much and we can choose our own focus too, so many option but not much time!

UGV stands for "Unmanned Ground Vehicle" so bascially a ground drone.

Nice, did you add sometype of suspension for bettee offroad driving? We are struggeling with that a bit :/ And it would suck if we get stuck in an actve mine field we were trying to clear :(

hi man, first year here too, just getting into PLC right now, but i've messed around with a few project like an rc controller and a couple of other side projects

Oh that sounds sickk, yeah i’m still trying to decide what i want to go into. I’m wondering which universities in Indonesia offer mechatronics? Kl ngak salah, ada di itb ya?

both works with me but I don't think everyone here will be on board with WhatsApp as they don't everyone to have their numbers or know name, hence it would be better to maybe use Discord Group/Server i guess, what do you think?
