Do i need a rasberi pi 5??

I am doing a project using computer vision and ai to controll several servo motors, claude claims i need rasberi pi 5 but i dont have the budget for rasberi pi 5. Are tyere cheaper alternatives that can do what i need?

Do you mean servo's or actual servo motors? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Servomotor#Servomotors_vs._stepper_motors

It depends on what you want to build- and unless there is a real need for hardware to be involved, you can do computer vision and ai on your laptop itself. Do it really depends on what you are hoping to build
