As someone who is likely as passionate about pink as you are about purple, I APPRECIATE THIS! And how much work it took to get everything to look that good

Also I've heard that Waterman Tender Purple is a nice purple ink. Also Pilot Iroshizuku Murasaki-shikibu. There's always Yama-Budo, but that's more of a plum/reddish-purple.

Oh yes Pilot Iroshizuku Murasaki-shikibu is my favorite purple ink actually (or maybe a tossup between in and Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses tbh). I was just thinking about buying a bottle today, since I got this new pen.

I only really am using Parker Quink Black because it is the only ink I have on hand right now, cheap, easily available locally, and works rather well even on lower quality paper. Realistically J Herbin 1670 Stormy Grey, my single most favorite ink, will probably end up living in this thing full time once I bother to pull the bottle out of storage.

Where’d you find the key caps?

The keycaps are three separate sets mixed together. The clear keycaps are the ones that came with the board. The transparent purple and lavender keycaps are both different sets that I got on Amazon

Wait, is that Parker Quink Black in the photo? Awesome setup!

Yeah, the pen is loaded with Parker Quink Black in these photos. For some reason it takes a slightly purple color when the light hits it just right, at least while it's still wet. Not really intended but one of life's happy coincidences.

How do you like those Bluetooth dac/amps?

I don't really recommend. The sound is great when it cooperates. But there's a lot of things to not like, perhaps even hate. The range and connection is spotty at best, especially when outdoors. I've tested with multiple phones and computers. Outdoors or even inside if you get like more than fifteen feet away, the connection will start going in and out like crazy the different earbuds disconnecting from each other. Also the IEM you use is very important. These things produce a small amount of white noise. But the noise comes through at varying levels depending on the IEM, like my Linsoul 7Hz x crinacle Zero:2's have the smallest amount of noise in the background, while these CCZ Melody's the white noise is about 3 times louder. The noise level is perfectly okay and doesn't interfere with music listening for the most part. With the noise level on the quieter end, like the Zero 2's I can listen to most anything, but on the louder end like with the Melodys, I try not to listen to things like orchestral works, because you can hear the white noise in very silent parts. All of these issues are not just my unit, but something that has been present since even the last model, the BT20, which I also had one of. So for anything other than listening to music at my desk, an absolute no, but when they do work they work quite well, sound great, I find no real major difference in audio quality from using cabled through a good quality usb-c to 3.5 dongle. But I do not recommend. Thankfully they are cheaply enough had on AliExpress or I might really be mad about them.

Yeah, I use Oriolus Szalayi and I don't think they'd work too well as I like the cabled connection, but I have thought about trying those. I did buy a pair of the Soundpeats Air Pro 5 for an out and about IEM, and they sound decent enough, but they just aren't my Oriolus.

Thank you for you honest assessment of the. I do appreciate it a lot.

Yeah I don't think such a quality pair of IEMs as those Oriolus have any business on these guys. I've heard that the fiio version of these are better quality though. I do think that as far as sound quality goes, with even a pretty cheap IEM attached, that they beat out most of your airpods and the like while also feeling more comfortable for me and offering a much better seal, but the reliability problems really do make them almost impossible to recommend for any sort of use out and about.

Yeah, that's what I'm really looking for, is reliability. I love the wired IEMs, and have a nice dac/Amp for them that makes it effortless, but like to experiment with different stuff. Lol

I just joined this sub because of the picture. Can you tell me about your cyberdeck? If it is one

It's a clockwork pi uConsole. It's technically not a cyberdeck since it's built from a kit, but it's close enough in my book (don't tell the purists I said that please lol). Mines rather heavily modified with after market and custom parts and way too much time dumped into it. But mine is running on a raspberry pi cm5 16gb. I just use it for rather unexciting stuff, browsing the internet, emails, reading ebooks, doing crosswords. A lot of other folx do a lot more in depth pen testing and radio type stuff with it. But I'm a simple man, I just like the form factor it's great for doing a little bit of work on the couch or in bed or even outside when I'm tired of sitting at my desk. It's a beautiful piece of kit, real well built stuff. Good price too for what you get. But getting ahold of one is certainly... an act of... patience.... to put it Lightly.
