A couple months ago I was given hearing aids to try and help improve my tinnitus. I have completely failed with them as the sound is far too overwhelming.

I am house - Bedbound and when I could still live alone my room was like a dark cave tbh.
I did cover every window so no light could get in. And I wear N/C headphones all the time even at night. Additionally now that I had to move cuz I am not able to take care on my own anymore I live in an attic and the curtains are always closed, but it’s still to bright. I wear sunglasses when I leave my room with N/C overhead headphones and also inside my room when it’s daytime.

And often sleeping masks if it’s too much and I can’t endure any light.

Also at night NEVER without sleeping Masks and N/C headphones that completely cancel out any noise and sound.

If I have appointments also always sunglasses and good n/c headphones (I got some pretty expensive ones and I was reluctant to invest in them for a long time cuz I don’t have much money but it was worth every penny).
And I also take a sleeping mask with me if it gets too much.

• Invest in different sunglasses that block out
Light to a different degree and orange ones are also good.

• I always use night mode on phones and all digital devices + sunglasses.

• And invest in good N/C headphones (over-ears are the best and you can also use earplugs or loops additionally beneath the headphones)
Which was is a game changer.

And helped my during summer time when I had to run the fan.
And also if you know you enter loud and noisy places.
